Call Choate directly, talk to Bryon, and ask if they have any factory seconds. I got one for a rem 700 build and I was a little worried that it would have a crack or chunk missing, but the "blem" was just a tiny unsanded portion of the mag well. That's it. Literally 10 seconds with some high grit sand paper, and it was a perfect stock. And I got it for half off, so $125. It was their tactical model, not the ultimate sniper or ultimate varmint. It looks more like the McMillan A3.
