Looking for a .575x40 tap and die to rent or borrow

Long story short. Have comp and 9x23 barrel that I would like to join. Took it to a local smith that sat on them for a year without doing any work.
I can buy the die from brownells for 95 bucks, but I'm a bit cranky at the thought of paying that for a single use item (only going to do this once).
