Lots of both available used but the number of Marlins seem to outnumber the Winchesters - and the Marlin is arguably the better rifle by design but a little heavier and bulkier whereas the Winchester is lighter, a littler more trim and seems to point more naturally when brought to the shoulder. No doubt advantages and disadvantages to both. It comes down the what feels the best in your hands and for me it is a Winchester - I own two.
