Not bad for a first gun project.... Caliber is, let's just say not off the shelf. ;-) Test fired a few round a couple days ago and I didn't lose any fingers or eyes!

The plan is to be able to market this round. Its a wildcat I thunked up. Its an AR-15 barrel for those who couldn't tell from the pic. (I know it wasn't the greatest) My idea is to make everything but the barrel it self easily found off the shelf type items. The extension is standard, bolt is standard (not 223), mags are standard, gas block, gas tube and flash hider are standard off the shelf items too.

It took quite a while getting it finished. I still need to get it bead blasted and some sort of finish on it. (Not stainless), yet..:) juggling a one year old and a dull time job and a wife leaves little time to play in the garage.

Negative. When I come up with a solution to a feed issue, I'll post range report and more details on the cartridge.

Since you're not disclosing the caliber, what is the diameter of the case head and OAL?

    Rim diameter is .424"

    I'm still playing with OAL.
