Local slide milling

Hey y'all. Does anyone do any slide milling local for red dots on handgun? I wanna try it out on my CCW gun but don't want to wait too long. I'm thinking of mounting one of the shield RMS sights but have herd mixed reviews. I like that it sits low and you don't need suppressor height sights. Would love to hear peoples advice and experience thus far of red dots on pistols, thank you.

Not being from, area, I can't make a recommendation. My best suggestion would be to ask trusted LGS owners or their employees for recommendations on a competent local gunsmith who has experience with that type of work.
