Local Nickle Plating and Parkerizing

Does anybody in the Portland area nickle plate or parkerize? I want to have my 870P redone in parkerized, and maybe get another 870P Nickle plated.

Eastside Plating can do most anything you could want.

Your best bet would be TiN plating. . Here is a photo of some 1911 parts I had plated for a customer of mine. PM me and I can give you prices. It is 3 times harder than chrome but looks like gold. I also do nickel plating.

I like it, but not the color. Can that be changed?

Yes, there is also a TiN coating with carbon added. its a charcoal color. not as dark as regular bluing. its nice though and has the same wear resistance as the gold color.
