Since I don't know how to or if I can make a poll:

How many have your firearms in your safe that are "Ready to go"?

0 - I'd rather keep loaded mags away from the firearms.

2, AR and a AK with 30 rounders ready to go, chest rigs with 6 mags in it and other gear are sitting next to the safe ready to go as well.

If I had any guns I would have 2 ready to fire at all times, the rest with mags inserted and nothing in the chamber is space permitted.

All loaded all the time, that way there is no doubt !
    No second guessing.
Outside the safe unless specifically being used they are unloaded, except what we carry.

None loaded in my safe, except for a lone handgun, should I ever be forced to open the safe by an intruder. All the rest of the weapons stashed around my house are loaded.

My safe doesn't have room for guns -it's full of client files- so the ones out for carry are always loaded. Pistols in the case have ammo in magazines right next to 'em. The AR is in a Blackhawk case with 4 loaded mags.

I have found out the hard way that the time between "what the..." and "go" can be a couple seconds.

Probably should have all of 'em loaded all the time, coming to think of it.

if I had any. Yeah that's the ticket, they're all airsoft replicas, I forgot for a second. They're so realistic...

The guns in my bedroom safe are always loaded.
Nothing in my big safe is loaded.
I have some loaded mags locked in my ammo cabinet, it makes things easier
when I am just grabbing some stuff to head out to the range.

    Loaded.
My fire extinguishers are ready to go.
My power tools' batteries are always on their chargers.
My toothbrush always has fresh batteries.
Heck, all the tools in my house are always ready to go.

Carry gun is loaded with one in the pipe, all the rest have full mags inserted with extras near them, but hammers down on empty chambers.

None are loaded. Full magazines are next to pistols. Plus I do not have a safe. A safe should be high on my needs list. What do you think?

I keep my AR with a 20 rounder in it, and my SAR-3 with a 30 rounder. Both are locked but not loaded. I keep some other little things around the house to "just in case".

    -Mark.
