This is the hardest add I have ever had to write.....:(

But I owe uncle Sam about 10X the asking price this ear in taxes.
So this custom ordered beauty has to go. I am selling at a loss but the price is non negotiable and includes one Novak and 2 Chip Mccormick Power Mags

Up for sale is a fully documented G2 custom (made by G. Glenn Riddle from Grandview, TX.) that is pistol has been fired a total of 20 test rounds and comes in the original box with all documentation too many features to list. I have the original build sheet for it as well. This gun is just too nice for me to carry or shoot. This may be the nicest 1911 I have ever owned.

The frame and slide are hand lapped and all the internal parts are match grade from the best of the best...Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, EGW, C&S, Novak, Wilson combat, Caspian and Clark.

The front and rear straps are beautifully hand checkered at 25 lpi.
The slide flats are mirror polished and the frame and rounds are bead blasted and blued to a nice matte finish.

The barrel is an Ed Brown match grade that is completely hand fit to the slide.
Lots of internal polishing for reliability and a very crisp 3.5 lb Wilson Combat trigger.

There is also a second set of mammoth tooth grips that will come with this gun. The original owner ordered them from Fine Turnage Productions at a cost of $225 and had to wait 18 months for them. .

First to post an "I'll take it" followed by an email to me will get it. $1750 iim1awh(at)comcast.net

Andy,
That is just beautiful 1911! I'm sorry that you have to sell such a nice piece of art to pay those thieves...

So why does the phrase 'The IRS' spell theirs? :s0112:

Okay we all have nice firearms no doubt about it, but I actually think thats the first one I wouldnt want to shoot, that is a fantastic looking gun. totally awe struck by it. Im very sorry to hear you have to make this sacrifice, been there (IRS) and it sucks.

If there is a silver lining in this cloud, its that you made enough money this year to have to pay taxes. In this economy thats a good thing. Keep the gun, setup a payment plan.
