So you're saying that the actions of others should be applied to you just based on the color of your skin or your relationships to the activities of others?

By that same token you should be able to take away guns and rights of everyone in wa state because someone with a gun committed a felony. Ipso facto the left believes that they are at a war with the right and that is the reason why guns should be taken away.

If a white American commits rape will you all face trial for it just because they committed an atrocity.

Looking back and saying ooh that was just what happened back then is short sighted and dangerous because that will equally be applied to us now. Someone in Vegas shot a bunch of people and some of his rifles had bump stocks should not equate to everyone losing that right

The US didn't intern Japanese decendents because of a simple murder or crime committed by someone. The US was at war with the entire country of Japan and just suffered a debilitating sneak attack at Pearl Harbor. The Japanese literally considered their emperor a God. It's not farfetched to presume that that would have been problematic for some Japanese living in the U.S.. It'd be like the U.S. Government declaring war on Jesus, or Allah and expecting Christians or Muslims to just be cool with it.

Trying to paint this as a simple black and white thing just doesn't do the context of the situation service enough.

The same methods are being used on the Russian people to vilify the Ukrainians and justify Putin's invasion.

It is looking at it at a historical context. You don't just get to place people into camps and strip away their rights when they did not do anything. People who looked like them from another country committed the atrocity.

I suppose you would be ok with putting non vaccinated in camps too? I mean it's a war against Covid right? And in a war it's ok to do whatever you think would be right?

And I was not speaking of the Lithuanians. They are denying rights to non citizens. Which non citizens don't have the same rights.

I am speaking of the USA interning it's own citizens based on a war outside the USA. You walk down that precedent and you might as well have interred all Muslims after 9-11.
