New Portland Earthquake Readiness Radio Show.
Because of concern about the prediction by local scientists that Portland is overdue for a major earthquake, the Portland Preparedness Center and KXL 101.1 FM are starting a new and unique radio show tomorrow night *(Saturday March 16 2013).
Itll be called The Wise Prepper Show and will be hosted by Michael Knight also known as Dr Prepper and Joshua Patterson from The Portland Preparedness Center.
Knight says since opening their Portland store in 2010 hundreds of people have been quietly putting together 72-hr emergency supplies for themselves and their families.
But, he says, trying to get what you need after the event is just going to be far too late, so we need to reach out to the entire city to help the willing be well prepared ahead of time.
The Wise Prepper Show will focus on emergency essentials and will air on Saturday nights between 8pm and 9pm on KXL 101.1 FM.
