Nikon lens with ED glass and silent wave motor, a perfect addition to anyone's photography gear.
I am the original purchaser, purchased at Glazer photography in Seattle.
I actually only used it once, seriously... then sold my Nikon F5 body (see below) the third picture to the right is for reference to the size of the lens on the camera body
The lens just sat awaiting my new purchase of the equivalent version camera but in digital.. (never happened)
This lens cost me $1700.00 + tax when I first bought it, it is indeed a tad expensive but it's very bright and clear and also incredible for fast-moving photography.
Keep in mind this lens is a tad heavy due the amount and type of glass used for the internal components.
