Bought a bunch of guns prior to M114 and need to thin the herd a little.
I purchased this MK25 brand new a little under two years ago and have only taken it out twice. Only around 200 rounds through it in all.
The MK25 is a clone of the variant issued to the Navy SEALS. Compared to the other P226 variants, this one offers corrosion resistant phosphate coating on the barrel and internals, a chrome lined barrel, a mil-spec picatinny rail as opposed to the proprietary SIG curved rail, and the "legacy" slide with the allegedly more reliable short extractor. This model does not come with the short reset trigger kit, but I have a spare SRT sear and safety lever I can include for another $25. It's a fine pistol and has given me no issues so far, but I just have a preference for the old school non-railed SIGs.
The pistol is in used but great condition. Barrel has some wear on the phosphate coating, which develops quickly compared to the normal nitrided ones but shouldn't affect functionality. Some very slight wear on the picatinny rail from having a light mounted, and a tiny bit in the magwell. The slide rails were always well lubed and I don't see any wear on them.
Usually retails for $1099. Asking $850. Buyer pays transfer/BGC fees. Willing to meet at an FFL in or near Albany, or ship FFL to FFL at buyer's cost. Comes with original case and 3 15rd mags.
