The Senate Ways and Means Committee considers the operating and capital budget bills and related legislation, including the authorization of state debt. Take note who is on the ways and means committee and who is sponsor of the bill.

Pederson is on record stating if it was up to his district voters we would ban "assault weapons".
Call me a conspiracy theorist if you will. I think there is a little something nefarious going on.

Oh and Pederson also happens to be on the ethics board.
