Never work. Too many sheeple that need to be told how and what to think. Well maybe it would work if we had real education in our schools.

Oh well, the present system doesn't work, either.

Medicare's something I pay for that I'll never get to use. The taxes I pay go toward the current benefits of people who don't work anymore, but instead sit around eating garbage, getting diabetes, and overutilizing medical services. They're getting way more back than they ever paid for, and my generation's going to be left holding the bag.
Really, Medicare recipients are the ultimate socialist welfare queens.
As far as the sharpness of tacks is concerned, I recommend you read this article. It might shed some light on why you're so confident about your political beliefs.

People paid their taxes to get medicare yet people like you would deny them what they paid for, obviouse who is the real villian here. I would never make a contract with someone like you, honor isn't at the front of what you stand for. You will make a dandy lawyer. Can we put you on the socialist side or do you deny that?

WHEN Adolf Hitler was building up the Nazi movement in the 1920s...
I'm a little bit confused about how your staunch support of the largest and most successful socialist program in the United States puts me on the "socialist side," but I guess that's just because I'm a dumb progressive. I might as well stop trying to figure this stuff out, it's all so complicated.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a two edged sword, one should be careful when wielding it.......
Doesn't usually come into play when one's trolling.
I do think Just Jim's definition is - for the most part - correct, although there are exceptions. For example, we do have liberals posting here that support allowing people the right to choose when it comes to gun ownership.
But there is no denying the fact that many liberals scream about the "right to choose" when it comes to abortion and gay marriage, but would deny others a whole host of rights they personally disagree with.
I find it quite amusing, for example, that it's most likely a liberal sporting a "Coexist" bumper sticker on their Prius.
But if we're honest, we must also acknowledge the double standard held by some conservatives that rant on about individual rights and freedoms, but would gladly take away a person's right to choose when it comes to abortion and gay marriage for example.
So there's hypocrisy on both sides of the political spectrum.
I prefer conservative ideals, but the foundation of this country rests on the recognition that each individual has the right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". So even though I "prefer" marriage to be between a man and a woman, and "prefer" to see people choose life over abortion, I cannot - in good conscious - deny those choices to people if I want society to recognize my right to gun ownership. As an American, I feel I need to be a libertarian first, and a conservative or liberal second.

It doesn't work because the progressives want to destroy the system so you will walk away from the constitution (and your gun rights) and follow a new socialist system. We have the greatest system of government in the world, just bad people running it.
Veritas et Aequitas = Truth and Justice
Conservatism: the radical idea that a government shouldn't do what you can do for yourself.
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." ~Thomas Jefferson

Relax. Conservatives are just as eager to destroy the constitution. Lets not forget the witch hunt for terrorists acrossed the land, waged by Bush (continued by Obama to be fair) that allows the NSA to listen to your phone calls, and if they deem you a terrorist to arrest you and take you to a secret prison somewhere with no right to legal council, no charges, and no due process.
edit: And lets not forget that quite a few conservatives APPLAUD Bush for these things.
I'd like to see how Obama or progressives could top that one. That's more Nazi SS BS on the part of Conservatives than Glenn Beck could ever hope to pin on Obama.
Sorry, Bush is a progressive, not a conservative. Conservatives believe in the constitution and our rights and liberties. Obviousely neither party is for conservative views.
Nazis were a socialist party that got elected promising healthcare for all. Your confusion about conservatives is understandable with education and the media run by socialist.
Also obviouse you are not watching Obama and his people very close, he just took over the banking industry.

+1 On the Bush thing. Never a conservative, always a closet progressive. Those that thought otherwise have their heads in the sand. The only thing that made George B. any kind of a president was the Trade Center Holocost! Out of control spending, commie social projects, U.N suck up, etc.Sorry, Bush is a progressive, not a conservative. Conservatives believe in the constitution and our rights and liberties.
