Actually I do play guitar...and I have played around with a "Deliverance" style home made stand up bass like that ...as well as a banjo made from a gourd.....LOLHave not had it confirmed but I heard (might be because I said it though) that AndyinEverson plays one of these.

Those A&Ls are well made guitars. Good handling even above the octave. One of my acoustics is a Larrivee, also Canadian. Problem is, you can only play songs in the key of "eh."Recently traded my Ibanez for this Art & Luthrie. Fits me better.

I have the ami by a&l. When moving by pods a freak accident happened and a chair was hanging off the neck for who knows how long. And there was no damage. At work we have one that has stood up to 10 years in the psych ward. It is quite worn, but still plays well.I almost bought one of those Art and Lutherie's! Sweet guitars and made in Canada, not China.
Like new condition and even had the stickers on the back still! Got it for a $100 bucks.Glad you found it!
