Both city and state governments, by encouraging the violent protests, have had a direct impact on our ability to exercise our 2A rights through high price on firearms and ammo!

Why not?

Because....

Lawsuit alleges Black Lives Matter protesters are being priced out of civil rights; cost of protective clothing too high

Sounds great, who is going to pay for the Lawyers and such? Would take a huge pile of cash and of course would go nowhere. So if someone wants to set a large pile of cash on fire? I guess this would be as good as any other way to do so

Wow
Seattle may actually be crazier than San Francisco or Berkeley!
The city has long been in a race to the bottom with places like SanFran. A lot of it has to do with may people with money who moved from places like SanFran to Seattle. They made a sewer out of home, so they moved up here. Then of course start to vote to turn the new home into the sewer they left. Sadly the people who do not have a lot of money to afford to live in gated places though keep voting for what they are getting. The "working class" places that used to be really nice are often sewers now. The people who live there? They keep voting for the same people who made the mess to fix it as they blame people who have no power to do anything here.:s0054:

"They" (CA transplants) have ruined the PNW so much that we are beginning to wonder if it's time to move to CA. Cost of living has gone up so much in WA state that I really don't see much financial benefit of WA over CA, and obviously, most will agree that most places in CA have better weather than most places in WA state. We still have better gun rights in WA, but for how much longer?

Move to California?
Go for it! The weather is better? Do you mean during drought season, mudslide season or fire season? Try buying a house in the PRK before you make a decision about financial benefit of the PRK over WA. Or start paying state income tax or the highest sales, gas and property taxes in the US. I guess you could buy a house in the central valley and commute a couple hours each way to the Bay Area or LA where the decent paying jobs are. Of course your commute will eat up a lot of that extra money you'll make and your quality of life will be bubblegum because you'll be exhausted most of the time from the job and the commute. On the plus side, during the summer you won't want to go out anyway because a lot of the time it will be over 100 degrees during the day but don't worry, it'll cool off to the low-mid 90s at night OK so you don't want to spend $300K for that valley house so move to the Bay Area or LA area There you can pay $1.5 Million for a nice 1400 square foot house on a 5K square ft lot assuming you've got the $300K down payment THEN you can pay about $5K+ per month mortgage Whoops! I forgot to add another $1200+/month to cover your property taxes. Then during summer and occasionally winter month you'll have "Spare The Air" days meaning the air quality is bad so no lawn mowers, or barbecues during summer and no fires in the fireplace during the winter with Rat squads roaming around to bust transgressors. Oh and your power and water bills will be significantly higher too. And don't forget the rolling blackouts!
Oh and your commutes may not improve all that much better than coming in from the valley depending on where your home and job are.
OR... you can spend$2500/month on a studio apartment, if you can find one. Wanna go camping for that 3 day holiday weekend? Get online 6 months to the day before you want to go camping to make your reservation at a state campground on the coast or in the Sierras. Start tapping like mad at 8AM
You could get lucky.
Own some AR's? FAL's? PTR-91s?? You'll have to neuter them before you can bring them in and you will be required by law to register ALL of your handguns when you move there as well. Got a Judge or Governor? Sell it because its a short barrel shotgun in the eves of the PRK and leave your silencers and SBRs behind as well, totally illegal in CA.
But Hey! You can always surf and ski in the same day, That is if you have any money left over and the energy to do it.
Kid, you need to really open your eyes and see just how good you have it up here.

There is NOTHING better in California
