I worked there for a few years and Les always treated me well.

I just drove by their place today on my way to the Clackamas County buildings, and I remembered installing HVAC controls in their (Benchmade) building about 15 years ago.... huh.

Wow. Man, how old was he?
He looks to be a young-ish early 60's.

They make some of the best knives. Their quality is far above competitors.

The locking system is hands down the best.

I have been a Benchmade fan for many years. They make an excellent knife. Am sorry to hear of the owners passing. I remember when Al Mar of Al Mar knives Passed away, another great knife maker. I own many of both knife makers knives and as a "cutlery freak" morn their passing. RIP
