In layman's terms, what is the difference betweeen a DA/SA and LEM trigger?

The double/single trigger is double action first shot and single action second shot and so on until you drop the hammer with the lever (decocker) on the side of the gun.Or reload.
The LEM seems to be a DAO (double action only) no hammer but a striker type firing system such as a glock Or that H&K in the video

LEM is not striker fired. It is very much hammer fired. Basically it is a DAO on steroids. Long takeup, followed by a light, depending on configuration, trigger pull. Great trigger for CCW since you don't have to worry about a decocker or safety.
