We are certain to see a barrage of anti-2A proposals early next year. Many will likely require record keeping along with other inspections and requirements. When we look at how our bipartisan committee is working with the marijuana issues, it's easy to see how they can effectively stop gun sales and make life for gun owners a living nightmare.

The below article is a prime example of stalling, finger pointing, lack of planning to provide adequate budget, and incompetence that is stopping an industry in it's tracks. They can easily do the same with firearms legislation. This is what happens when bureaucrats decide that they know how to best manage commerce and then strangle the business they're charged with supporting. Keep it in mind when writing and calling your reps.

So maybe the answer is to take the offensive with PRO-gun initiatives. Stress how other states requirements compare to ours (WA really is pretty much "warm body with clean criminal record") and push for Universal Recognition.
