Lift Every Voice Oregon and Ceasefire are taking full political and emotional advantage of the recent school shooting in Texas to gut Oregon gun rights.

From the article, "The campaign aims to obtain 140,000 signatures for the petition by July 8... [G]un-control advocates are focusing on Initiative Petition 17, and don't plan to collect signatures at this point for a second gun measure, Initiative Petition 18, which they will work to have introduced in the Legislature next year."

It's not a matter of "if" we see stricter gun laws in the PNW, it's a matter of "when". The demographics of Oregon and Washington are changing, driven primarily by urban areas, to support progressive/liberal agendas. You should either be looking at plans to relocate out of the PNW or buying what you can now before it becomes unobtainable. There is a near 0 zero chance that the Supreme Courts of Oregon and Washington are going to strike down stricter gun measures, and only a slightly better chance that the US Supreme Court takes a case regarding "gun bans" (capacity limits, AWB, etc).

It's all about SAFETY.

Wouldn't it be great to have a coordinated response to set up a table next to them every time they are out to gather signatures and counter their points with salient, articulate points to the drivel they are selling by group of diverse gun owners such as we have here? Been pondering this for a while and with recent events, may be time for action with this.

How many do they have to date?
