Left over tags?

I have never tried to get a left over tag and am wondering if there is a way to find out what the tags will be for? The attempt to purchase has to be online and if my past experience with ODFW's website is any indication of future performance, it will be a waste of time. I suspect most of the tags will be on private property.

How to purchase leftover tags | Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife

To begin, navigate to online licensing page and login with your ODFW username and password. Once logged in you should see two options in the upper right side of the screen. You can either view the leftover tags for sale or enter the sale.

According to the website the leftovers go on sale starting 1 July so you'll want to move fast once they're posted.
