I've gone and bought myself a 1911, now I need to be able to affordably shoot it. Looking for a Lee set as they're probably the cheapest I'll find that do the job well. I'd certainly consider others if they're a good price.
I've tried both, get the rcbs dies, they work better for me. Congrats on your new gun, I have a blast shooting 45. Reloading it isn't as much fun, but, that's the price you pay. Get carbide dies if you can.
Yes, I'm looking for the Lee 4 die carbide set. I've the same set in 40 S&W and I like the way they work except I wish the seater guided the bullet a little better. I've got Hornady carbide dies in 45 Colt and I like the seater in those better. I'd probably be pretty happy with any brand carbide dies, just figured the Lee's are cheapest.
