I'm bringing the Arima home for the winter this weekend but I'm not quite finished. Short soak got me 8 really firm crab and I also caught two really nice coho a couple of miles upriver.
I'm using my really light steelhead spinning outfit with the downrigger at eight feet. The coho were natives so I released them without even touching them. What a hoot on the light gear. The pots are soaking overnight so I'm hoping for more crab tomorrow.
