got a problem with the laser not lining up with the sights.
when I install it in the slide, it lines up with the sights on the gun.
after I install it on the frame, the laser is 6" high at 10'.
I remove the slide, and the guide rod has slipped down off
it's proper place on the barrel lug.
tried on my 26, same thing.
Anyone seen this before?
thanks

Well, I went out to shoot, got 1 shot off: GREAT.
2nd shot slam fired the 3rd
4th slammed the 5th, and so on.
pull the laser out, all is fine.
I think I will put it in my 26 and see if it does the same.
Anyone else have this kind of thing happen in their glock?

These things are such a cool invention but I have yet to hear of anyone having a positive experience with one.
They've been around for what, 10 years? And they're still "buggy"... ?
I sent mine back to the factory
and they told me they could not fix it, but offered to sell me another at a discount. Nope...POS and never held a zero

I have a few of the GR LaserMax and never had any woes..battery cap can lose contact spring or its lugs wear down cap come off. But nothing as described here. I doubt 9mm vs 40 cal spring would cause slam fire but???
Mine are sig related lasers and springs easy to tell...music wire/strand. Maybe use factory recoil spring ?
Red is not real bright in sunshine but lowlight and night...bright as fcks...
I DONT WASTE CASH ON LM BATTERIES. OUCH YOU CAN BUY GENERIC AND AT THAT SIZE...PRETTY MUCH SAME
SURE THE SLEEVE WAS HANDY BUT NOT FOR AN EXTRA $11
" battery jacket "

that was part of the test, the 40 still doubles. going to clean thoroughly.
I think as long as I use good batteries I should be good. My high end red dots
don't want cheap batteries in them. must be a reason.
