Last Chance for Registered Lane County Voters to Sign the SASA Petition.
The Second Amendment Sanctuary Amendment would turn Lane County into a Sanctuary for gun owners.
The SASA will not protect felons in the possession of a gun and it does not protect anyone using a gun to commit a crime, but it will prevent the county officials from enforcing state and federal firearm regulations.
The wording of the measure is at the link below.
Petitions must be sent in by December 1, 2021.Chief Petitioner's address is on the petition.
There is no time left and we still need at least 2500 more signatures to have a good buffer. The circulators have collected over 10,208 signatures so far and we need 10,632.
