lake merwin / cougar washington shooting areas

We will be in the cougar Wa area in april and I am looking far a spot to do a little handgun and carbine shooting. Any info would be helpful since I am not real familiar

if i tell you a spot via pm, will you keep it to yourself? i like going there once in awhile and would hate to lose it due to other people's stupidity and lack of effort taking their own crap back out of there.

Could you PM me that info also, we have family that have places at lake Merwin "campers hide away" and I'd like to have a close spot to do some shooting, I wont say anything and I always pick up my trash and others.
