Lake Chelan - shore fishing or boat rental?

My wife has a conference in Chelan this weekend and I need stuff to do with the pre-teen girls. I've never been to Lake Chelan.

Don't want to haul the canoe up there but wouldn't mind either renting a boat or doing some shore fishing. Any good shore fishing locations or boat rental places anyone can suggest?

I've only fished Chelan from a boat with a guide (didn't want to bring my boat, no DR's).
Do some searching & you will find a lot of information on where to fish & guides in the area. I love the Eastside in the fall.
