Update:

I spoke with a friend who got more details from a local radio news broadcast. The open carrier was disarmed and detained (under suspicion of committing a crime) for TWO HOURS while the police reviewed security footage from every angle to determine that she did nothing wrong.

Open carry into a bank is just a stupid idea........of course the over reaction of the bank employee was also very stupid.

Here in Oregon, unjustified use of 911 is considered a class A misdemeanor.

If a caller repeatedly reports someone as a threat, they may be in violation. Usually the operator will educate them the first time, but have less tolerance for repeat callers.
