Now looking for a Ruger M77 Alaskan or Guide Gun!

I recently got this from another member, and had plans to Randy Weaver it, but I can't bring myself to doing that to such a cool old gun.

Serial dates this to about 1914, it has "armor steel" 30" barrels that are likely choked full/full (Smith did not mark barrels). Lock up is very solid and tight, stock has no cracks and is a really cool blonde/light color. At some point a recoil pad was added, but the stock does not appear to have been modified, and you can get repro butt plates.

The left barrel has a very small ding in it, a few inches from the muzzle, which does not cause any problems. Just this weekend I put 2 boxes of Remington Gun Club loads through it and a few #4 Buckshot, it shoots well! Finish is minimal but there is no rust.

I am asking $525 for the shotgun, and I am open to trades.

Trade ideas (can add other guns) -
S&W and Ruger revolvers
Winchester Model 12
Remington M11
Browning Auto5
S&W 3rd Gen autos
Lever action Marlins and Winchesters
Ruger M77, Win M70 (CRF), Rem 700 wood/blued rifle

Surefire forend - Mossberg
Aimpoint PRO, CompM3/4
Trijicon MRO Patrol
Surefire X300u
Daniel Defense Omega 7.0 rail

I'd cut it to 26-28 inches and install choke tubes.
