I am planning to get a quality IWB holster - crossbreed, raven, white hat, something like that.

I can't carry at work (company policy forbids). However, I'd like to wear my holster full time so it always feels natural (and my clothes are properly sized).

Will an empty Kydex-based holster deform typically if it's worn empty for a long period of time (8-9 hours a day)? I can ask the maker, too, when I pick one.

I carry a crossbreed style holster and while working my holster is empty and has held up great overtime and doesnt get in the way when im rolling around on the shop floor.
hope that helps.

The impact, pressure and/or extreme temperatures necessary to permanently distort a Kydex holster shell from it's original mold shape, while it's "attached" to you... would probably injure or kill you. In other words, you'll break before the Kydex does.
