Everett law

10.78.020 Unlawful use of weapons to intimidate another.
It is unlawful for anyone to carry, exhibit, display or draw any firearm, dagger, sword, knife or other cutting or stabbing instrument, club, or any other weapon apparently capable of producing bodily harm, in a manner, under circumstances, and at a time and place that either manifests an intent to intimidate another or that warrants alarm for the safety of other persons.

"Dangerous knife" means any knife having a blade more than three inches in length, or any dirk, dagger, sword, bayonet, bolo knife, hatchets, straightedge razor, or razor blade not in a package, dispenser, or shaving appliance.
The article makes no mention of the length of his weapon (his knife), in the video looks like his knife may be under the three inch length.

2. Carry concealed on his person any dangerous knife; provided, that a dangerous knife carried openly in a sheath suspended from the waist of a person is not concealed within the meaning of this subsection;

-So a neck knife is not exempted, must be carried suspended from the waist.

Considering the recent Taco smell incident very likely caused the manager to be concerned for the safety of his staff and customers his actions may have been justified.

We're not talking Burger King here, you can't always have it your way.

Washington knife laws are a cluster fuc, when I have to cross the border I can carry whatever gun I chose that morning however have to be very conscious of what knife to carry.

How is this any different from someone deciding to open carry a pistol and and anyone at any store deciding they don't want to serve him because of that?

Plus - the "we reserve the right to refuse service" has been totally debunked and shredded by the left already. In fact, an unfortunate cake baker didn't want to make a gay wedding cake and he got the pants sue'd off him, the argument being that he discriminated against them due to their sexual orientation.

Open carrying is a civil right, this customer was discriminated against for exercising a civil right, and I hope he sue's MD for it.

Unfortunately, this argument doesn't hold water since "Constitutional American" And "white, straight male" are not protected classes in the anti-discrimination laws... Those groups can still be discriminated against! Here's just one example

I think it said the blade was a 4" karambit. The pic isn't the knife in question. If it is then the writer doesn't know the difference between a leather sheath and a Kydex one.
2. Carry concealed on his person any dangerous knife; provided, that a dangerous knife carried openly in a sheath suspended from the waist of a person is not concealed
I don't think that is exclusionary. I believe this particular clause only pertains to a knife in a belt sheath and whether or not it is considered concealed.
A folder in a pocket can be considered legally "dangerous" but is still legal to carry that way.
If the blade was over 3" then dude has to open carry and pay attention to the law... the cops said no law was broken.

I would have walked out the minute the manager opened his mouth. I've happily done it before... I don't hang with or do business with ninnies.

I am one of the most libertarian, freedom loving individuals out there. In this instance, I believe that the rights of the business trumps the right of the guy who wants a burger. I realize that the left wants it both ways; get sued if you won't make a gay wedding cake and honored if you kick out the MAGA hat.

+1 The person who has put his money and time into owning a business, should be able to decide who he does business with. Just about every lgs owner is expected to excercise that judgement, a food establishment should be able to also.

If you don't like the way he does business then you don't go there. If enough people don't like the way he is doing business, then he goes out of business.

But then for the left, a gun that doesn't get sold is victory, so I wonder..... is it a victory or loss for the left if a non-white gay woman is turned away from purchasing an AR-15 even though she passed NICS
