Kirkland man shot during home-invasion robbery | The Today File | Seattle Times

A Kirkland man was shot during a fight with two men who tried to force their way into his home last night, police said.

According to Times news partner KING-TV, the 26-year-old man and his girlfriend were inside a home in the 12000 block of 102nd Court Northeast around 10 p.m. when two men tried to force their way inside. The two men pistol-whipped the victim before the fight moved outside, where the man was shot.

The victim was taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center, where he is in stable condition, KING reports.

Detectives don’t know if the victim knew the two assailants.

Just points out why one should always be armed at home.

Nice job reporting by the local bird cage linner and idiot tube. Would it kill them to provide a description?

How do you know the victim wasn't a prohibited person?
