King County (Seattle+) so far behind on CPL processing that appts now go out to March

This is from a friend whom I've been encouraging to get his WA State Concealed Pistol License (CPL):

FYI - I just called to make an appointment to get a concealed pistol permit at King County Sammamish precinct. They are booked until March 21! The receptionist said they are being flooded with requests right now. She said that in Seattle, while there is no need to make an appointment, there is a line out the door a hour before opening, and unless you're near the front, to count on it taking several hours to have a permit processed.

Bummer. I made an appointment in late March!

I just had to do mine, apparently it expired last year not this year.

Walked in an out in under 10 min. Another nice thing about being on the east side of the state.
