At least they dare to innovate...
The Co is one of the FAVORITE targets of hate. They have been for as long as the net has been around. The first time I bought one of their guns I had not yet played on the net. Was looking for a replacement for my last 5 shooter .38. Used as a coat pocket gun. It went with one daughter who was striking out on her own. Sales guy showed me a P-11. It was cheaper than the low end .38's and I was skeptical to say the least. Sales guy assured me so I figured why not. I still have and sometimes carry that one and it still impresses me. Have bought half a dozen or so since then. Still have 3 of them. Maybe I have unreal luck since I have not had a problem yet. Several people I work with who told me how bad their guns were finally bought one after trying mine. They too always had them just work. :s0092:

I have a Sub2k that I like. I had to do some tinkering when I first got it, but it works very well now.

It would be cool if they had two sub-models of each model: one affordable for the people who don't mind screwed together plastic, and another that's made with serious quality parts, for those who love the innovation and don't mind paying for quality.

For my Sub2k range toy, I'm in the former camp. It's a cool design but I wouldn't have bought it if it cost what it would have to do it right.

When they first started making this concept they did and they did not sell. The first ones were the Sub9 and Sub 40. They were made like an AR and cost as much as an AR did then. The gave up as so few sold and came up with the fist edition made with a lot of Polymer. From that point on they could not make them as fast as they sold. I would certainly jump all over one made like that again or at least would have before my state cut that stuff. Just not enough market for it though.

That disassembly method, pulling forward on trigger, super slick. I like it. Hopefully it's not too complicated on the inside, that would cancel out any benefits.

I'd wager not being able to remove mag to clear jams had something to do with them coming up with it, but it has potential to be a great design.

The longer I look at it, the uglier it gets. Kind of like that 2am booty call at bar close.
Hey there big guy ........

Props to KelTec, that's pretty damn cool. The capacity and size makes it logical for concealed carry, and the mag free design should eliminate the most common malfunctions. Would love to see the same internal mag concept in a little carbine - obviously would require a different barrel design, but would make a neat lightweight backpacking gun.
