Keltec PLR front grip options

I realize that mounting a vertical front grip on the forend of my PLR-22 would create an AOW, but what about Magpul's angled foregrip? Does that count?
Or I had an idea to get a rail mounted sling mount and create a short sling I can wrap around my hand for a front grip. Any thoughts?

While we're on the subject I was curious about one of these or something similar on a PLR-16 ? I'm sure I know the answer but wanted opinions.

I believe that even though it is a "bi-pod" it is still a vertical foregrip landing it in NFA territory. Could be wrong though.
