We've got a problem, friends: We're less than 72 hours from our next hearing day, and we just learned the gun lobby is bombarding state legislators with calls and emails speaking out against the gun safety legislation at the top of our agenda.
As you read this, the gun lobby is rallying its supporters to oppose Restoration of Local Authority and Enhanced Assault Weapons Background Checks – legislation that would save lives across our state.
Now, we've only got three days to fight back. We need to let the gun lobby know we're more dedicated to passing lifesaving legislation than they are to preventing it. Your voice matters. Thanks to the action of advocates like you, Dangerous Access Prevention was passed out of committee.
