Just saw an add for the piece. Revolves around solution for the "increase" in mass shootings. Tuesday at 11.Says it is a solution we can all get around. Looked like it was Pozanski doing the interview with some wonderful made up pie graph.

Yea, right: something that everyone can support, but which the public will never be given any opportunity to vote on.

No doubt this "increase" in mass shootings will be declared to be an "emergency".

"Cease Fire Oregon says that 70% to 80% of people killed by firearms, fire the guns themselves."

What the f u k c are they smoking?!?!?!?!?

Actually, what that data shoes is that in oregon only 0.322% of deaths are caused by gun violence.

Doesn't that prove that there is no actual problem with guns in oregon? That data proves there's no need or benefit to further gun control legalization.

Nation wide that ratio doesn't hold up, so oregon is abnormal or their data set is manipulated.

Again, assuming their data is correct, oregon literally has no problem with gun violence. It claims gun homicide is only 100 of 34,000 deaths. Based on their data, there is no need for further gun control.

Checkout the results of this survey ( link is down below ) conducted recently in the Portland area. It indicates that a majority of the people living in and around Portland oppose laws outlawing either high capacity mags, or semiauto rifles.

So much for the majority of people wanting gun control. If they cannot even get a majority in Portland, how bad would the survey results be for the entire state????

This story at the link below from the Oregonian already pointed this all out two years ago: Oregon's high firearms death rate is being driven by middle age and elderly men and women committing suicide with guns.

So how in hell is the government going to be able to stop suicides? How would that even be possible, without taking draconian measures??

Well that was a pointless piece. Someone tell ceasefire that they were not the ones who were sucessfull in thwarting 4 recalls. Glad to see Keven from OFF give our side.

The MSM is bought and paid for the talking heads have been brainwashed all their lives and despite their best efforts the US has 6 years of record breaking new gun sales

Did you see the report at 11pm? What did they say in it regarding any future legislation?

.
Possibly legislation regarding reporting by doctors, and training to identify suicidal individuals best I could tell. I recorded it and will look tomarrow, but it was pretty pointless as usual.

Thats the scary bubblegum, when u have to be afraid of your doctor turning you in for some such bs. My wife cant access my medical records to help with paperwork, but the gov't has an open book handed to them.:mad:

Sorry, back to the topic...

A few years ago I was called into multnomah county jury duty. It was a gun related crime, so we all (120??) potential jurors got the questionare about how do you feel about this and that. The results came back the next day, and one of the attorneys said he couldnt believe it; better than 60% of us either had guns or supported gun issues.

The trouble is Tina Kotek and her useful idiot supporters. They would support her no matter what, and she knows it.
