K98's at Big 5, $399....anybody check 'em out?

    ...saw the ad in today's paper & went down to the nearest Bg 5 to take a look. There were two guys ahead of me in the process of buying the only two they had in stock and there were several phone calls the clerks were getting at the same time from people inquiring about the K98's so it looked like business was brisk. I didn't get a very good look at the ones being sold so was curious if anybody here had gotten one, or at least a good look?

    They are Russian capture K98's worth about $200 IMHO. The RC's are very crude, if you want a low cost K98 look for a Yugo capture. You can find very nice rifles for around $200, in original furniture with matching numbers, many retain several dirty birds.

    I picked this YC for $165 last May.
