What's the best powder for getting the 250 to 270 loads out at good velocities. I used 10x and was compressing loads with the specs on 375raptor.com

Just finished my build. Sent the rifle out to Medesha FireArms who cerakoted my rifle assembled and test fired. I have not yet fired my 375 as I am currently working up two 7 Raptors that I had assembled.View attachment 422065 View attachment 422069 View attachment 422076


The 7's were fantastic to shoot so I expect the same out of the 375.

Looks to be an ArmaSight Predator. Can't make out the magnification, but near as I can enlarge the image, it appears to be 1.5-12X28

UPS finally delivered the scope, mount and trigger yesterday evening. swapped the Mil-Spec trigger out and got the scope squared and mounted. I ordered some Lehigh Defense 250gr Controlled Fracturing bullets along with some Cutting Edge "Maximus" bullets but they won't be delivered until the 26th. For now I'll zero it and break in the barrel with the 250gr Sierra's.

The .375 Raptor case is simply formed. One pass with a .308 Win case, through a .375 Raptor full length die. Then trim to length and load.

The .375 Raptor produced 3360+ foot pounds of energy at the muzzle with the 250gr Sierra's and is still a heavy hitter with the 350gr Sierra Match King's subsonic.

Are you still happy with this setup? I have an extra lower laying around and I am torn between building a 375 Raptor or a 6mm.

I used my 375 raptor on bear last year and I'm hooked. I absolutely love it. I've actually had it out to 500 with the Lehigh bullets.

I have been tempted to build a 358 Win upper for my 308 AR lower but this 375 is pretty dang interesting.
