Wondering if anyone at Leopold uses this site as a resource given they are a PDX based company?
There's gotta be.
I know of at least one. I bought some Black Hills .223 Ammo from a Leupold empolyee on this site a while back. Won't say who it is unless he wants to identify himself.
In a way I am
I'm one of their vendors (No I don't get an employee discount)
my step dad retired from there after 30 years as the CFO. Got me a sweet *** mark 4 CQT
I know one guy who works there... I am not going to out him. and by out I mean he is really really gay.
Nice Sweatbeard. Baiting him into outing himself. :fishing: oke: :nono:
My wife's dad worked there for many years, like 15 years as an engineer. He said he hated to do the Shot Shows as hunters always asked him dopey questions about Leupold at his booth, like how to pronounce "Leupold". He admitted to me the European optics, primarily Austrians and Germans are better. Swarovski, Zeiss, Leica, Schmidt Bender ect, but not so much better to justify their higher prices. His favorite binoculars he always carries are the Swarovski 8-40, awesome! Nothing even close in clarity, nor nothing close to their $1,800 price tag.
I like leupold cause their local, and I can go and complain in person when my mark 4 mr/t acts up.
do they sale their optics to the public (i.e. a factory store)? are they cheaper?
Are they still on meadow, off of walker in beaverton?
I know some people that work there...
No factory store, people go there all the time asking for that, though.
How long ago did he retire? Does he drive a 5 series?
