I am so off the charts pissed off about this! If someone goes out and drives drunk and kills someone, the alcohol maker doesn't get sued. The car maker doesn't get sued. The knife maker doesn't get sued when someone is stabbed.

What military issues their army semi-automatic weapons?

A military weapon has selective fire, full auto, three round burst, ect. Manufactures have not been able to sell or manufacture military weapons to civilians since 1986.

The rifles we buy, like the AR-15, is not a military weapon. Take a military M4 and a civilian AR15 and try to change out the BCG - ain't going to happen.

They would more than likely stand with the plaintiffs given their penchant for stupidity.
Then it gets sent the the Supreme Court to uphold or deny,, bare with me now as this is where a decision from a lower gets down right dicey at this time,,
The Supreme Court is at this time evenly divided ,conservative/liberal.
In a split even divide which ends
In no decision, the lower courts decision stands.
Think about that one for a few minutes.

Based on this article, it looks like the defendants lawyers filed the wrong type of motion.

The average civilian AR15 does not have the sear release in the trigger group. For that reason, a full auto bolt carrier in a standard civilian ar15 will not make it full-auto.

Ya know, as much as I hate it, flood the system with lawsuits. Fuk it. Next accident you get into sue the vehicle manufacturer. And Keep trying....use the weapon (vehicle) manufacturer as the default... if they can be sued so can car manufactures...they sold a car to a dude or chick who drove recklessly right?
