Are there any known area past Hood Canal bridge in Jeff. Co. to shoot outdoors that aren't posted 'no shooting'? Looking for a new place to shoot longer range for rifles.

There are several places in Jefferson County to shoot.

There is a lot of room under the power lines south of Quilcene. Just south of Mt Walker is Spencer Creek Rd; that will get you in the area. I've seen people scout the power line access (its a dead end) then drive back and shoot long range from there.

A friend goes down to the end of Dabob Rd. I've never been down there but it's nothing special from what he says.

The spot in the picture below is up past the Mt Zion trailhead.

If you feel like driving a little farther, there's a good area in port Angeles - Little river rd. It's state land and there are a few spots where you can set up.
