This is a Japanese Arisaka Type 99. 7.7mm.

This is your typical WWII souvenier as brought home by many Marines during the second world war. Overall it is a nice rifle, but there is a slight crack in the stock at the wrist. As with nearly all bring-backs; the imperial chrysanthemum atop the receiver has been lightly defaced by the surrendering Japanese soldier in order to preserve the Emperor's honor but it is still largely visable.
