Gun control icon James Brady passes

James Brady, seriously wounded in a 1981 assassination attempt on then-President Ronald Reagan and an icon of the gun control movement as a result of that injury, died today according to the New York Times and other news agencies. He was 73.

What do you want to bet they claim he died due to "gun violence" - not because he was old.

For a man and his wife who had supposedly been conservative republicans they sure reversed course quickly. One can blame tbi for mr. Bradys words and thoughts after his shooting - but his wife could have launched a campaign against mental illness - instead of blaming the perpetrator and his motives she targeted the tool used and showed herself not to be terribly conservative at all. She paraded her injured husband about and used him as a puppet to push an anti freedom agenda.
