J Frame grip question

This is a S&W Model 60 with no dash and "square butt", and 2 inch barrel.
Square butt 2 inch barrel S&W model 60's are one of the rarest Smith's. In the early 1980's Smith and Wesson was making limited runs of their firearms in different configurations for distributors who would commit to the entire run. They made square butt 3 inch model 60's and 2 inch square butt model 60's for "Jovino's" a large distributor in NYC in downtown Manhattan near the "old" NYPD headquarters (the tombs). Runs of this nature were usually 350 to 500 guns but I have no idea how many were actually delivered. I do know there were other productions of the 3 inch model in double action only for NYPD, which they never took delivery of, and found their way to the civilian market. However there was only this limited run of the square butt 2 inch.

As a comparison, this is a round but S&W Model 60.
