Hello,

So I'm in a bit of a conundrum. So I bought an IJ top break revolver from a pawn shop last summer. Tag said it was a .32. I bought reloading components for .32 S&W BP rounds. Finally picked the gun up brought it home only to discover it was a .38 S&W. Great. I bought a parts kit for a later smokeless .32 IJ, I have everything but the frame. So what I'm looking for is an IJ .32 top break revolver made preferably before 1898 that someone is willing to part with. Or a broken smokeless parts gun I can rebuild. Please let me know. I have things to trade or we could come to some kind of price.

What are your plans for the IJ .38S&W?

Honestly not much. It's missing the front sight, that's the only thing wrong with it. Lock up is fine. Timing is fine. It would go bang. It's made in 1896 so I assume it's considered an antique. I would be willing to part with it if someone had an antique .32 for trade or something like that.
