I have a few original cap & ball revolvers:
A Colt '51 Navy from 1863
A Colt '60 Army from 1868 ( Not pictured ... was being shot at the time )
I still shoot these.
Also a Colt Dragoon ( 2nd Gen. But still a real Colt )
Not to forget to mention a original trade pistol and pocket pistol.
I was just thinking that shooting and filming some original firearms would be neat.
Just how often do you get to see a rifle that is older than the United States?
Or shoot a rifle from the The Fur Trade?
Or a revolver that was around from the days of Wild Bill or John Wesley Hardin?
I'm not knocking replicas ... Just wanting to share and shoot my originals.
Lots of replicas are out there and they are fun and indeed worthwhile to own.
