    At least once a month I have to do an inspection and make sure everything is clean and functional, since it's my belief that what good is a toy if you can't use it. I'm looking forward to taking the latest acquisition out to the range and give it a few rounds; that's the Mosin M91 sitting on top of the ammo crate.

    Thanks. I'm a sucker for wood and steel. It's more primal and sensual; I love the feel of warm wood after a few rounds...:oops: I'm starting to sound like Yankee Marshall.

    What are those two bayonets at the base of your picture?
    Half out of their scabbards?

    The one on the right is a Yugo mauser bayonet which goes with my 24/47. The left one goes to my Czech 98/22 Mauser.
