    The suspect came to rob a disabled man in his own home of his prescription opiates. What really makes this story funny is the fellow had purchased a handgun that afternoon. And what was our intruder shot with?... Kommissar Popov.jpg

    Yep, a Model 1895 Nagant revolver similar to the one pictured above. Either the old guy has the hand strength of a bench vise or he was shooting in SA mode because a 14lb DA pull is no easy feat. ;)

    HaHa! I was going to post about what a stupid, dangerous idea it was to keep a handgun under you're pillow! But that's okay with the Nagant! That trigger is so hard to pull you have to awaken to use two hands! And, that's in single action!:rolleyes:

    Same reason I don't feel under gunned with a 5.56 rifle.

    I just think of all the things I put down with a .22 rifle.
