    I guess beauty is in the eye of the holder cause I think the SR series (especially the compact) are some fine looking firearms.

    how does this seem ugly to some? looks a **** of alot nicer than any glock i've seen. I dont think i'd own one of these personally but id have to agree its not a bad lookin piece; leme know how it shoots when you get it

    I don't think it looks too bad, until I see that giant, red, loaded chamber indicator.

    And I find that isn't a whole lot better looking then a Hi-point.

    Not ragnging on the gun but I do wonder if some one would please enlighten me, what is the appeal to ruger auto's. I have owned and enjoyed their wheel guns, just do not understand the auto's.

    they are going to make a 1911?

    They're affordable.
    For me, ergonomics are spot on.
    Accurate.
    Not a glock.
    17+1.
    Light.
    Slim.
    Reliable.
    My Sr9 has 3k rounds thru it? Now.
    I don't see the problem.
